Maria grew up in Connecticut coming from a long line of skilled masons and carpenters, this upbringing gave her an innate sense of material and craftsmanship which she applies to every project. At the age of 15 she began working after school for a construction company, where her passion for the design/construction industry was born. She first pursued an accounting degree, and received her CPA in 1987. After climbing the corporate ladder for 25 years in the world of high finance and accounting, she decided to pursue a career following her early passion. After studying interior design at Fairfield University she launched her own design firm. She is able to utilize her business and project management prowess with her design training and offer her clients the total package.
